Sophie & Chip | The Mount Somerset, Taunton

he day finally arrived to see Sophie & Chip get married. I had been looking forward to capturing their wedding for quite some time and as my first wedding of 2018, I was eager to get back into wedding season.  I was really excited to be photographing what I ready knew would be a great day. Throughout 2016/2017 I had seen Sophie & Chip at numerous friends weddings that I had been photographing. It became a bit of a private joke that we kept bumping into each other. With Sophie’s warm and friendly personality and Chip’s fun-loving approach, I secretly hoped when their engagement was announced they would book me. And they did!

Diana & Phil | Deer Country Park, Devon

hen I first met Diana & Phil I knew the wedding would be a fun loving event. There relaxed approach, with the addition of the cutest little boy and Phil renowned moves on the dance floor made me really excited to capture their special day. They chose the beautiful Deer Park Countryhotel in Devon.  Set in 80 acres of glorious grounds, this beautiful boutique hotel has a pretty Italian garden and a quintessentially English Country House. It is the perfect example of the British countryside.

Kelly & Jonathan | Cripps Barn, The Cotswolds

et within magical woodland and picturesque grounds, the Cripps Barn surroundings are notably romantic and the perfect choice for Kelly and Jonathan wedding last April. We were so lucky to have the most glorious sunny day and it truly felt like summer was on its way. With her flaming red hair and antique cream dress, Kelly looked stunning against the blue skies and lush green woodland.

Winter elegance at Quantock Lakes | Siobhan & Jack

ocated in Somerset in the village of Nether Stowey, Quantock Lakes was my next venue for a lovely winters day in early February 2017. It was the perfect winters day and the sun shone for Siobian and Jack.

Siobian and her bridal party got ready in the recently finished Wedding Village, which includes, the Posh Piggery Bridal Suite and a large 2-storey barn conversion called the Wagon House. It was a great space to get ready in with lots of natural light and plenty of room for everyone. I particularly utilised the balcony overlooking the sitting room to capture lots of lovely getting ready photographs and capture the relaxed atmosphere in the morning among everyone.

A winter’s tale at St Audries | Lisa & Neil

am sure you may have spotted this gorgeous couple on my Instagram and I can’t quite believe its been a year since this beautiful day for Lisa & Neil.

Situated in the Quantock Hills, St Audries was the venue for this winter wedding at the end of January. With a beautiful view over the Bristol Channel, and your very own country house exclusive for you and your guests I can see why Lisa & Neil chose this venue.

Highlights of 2017 | Top One Hundred

maybe a little late but I couldn’t let January pass without highlighting the beautiful weddings of 2017. Often I think about how lucky I am to say I love my job. It is my passion and I continually thrive to always keep improving, learning new techniques and to offer my couples something different. 2017 was no exception, even after 7 years full time as a wedding photographer I can still say I love weddings!
