Sophie & Chip | The Mount Somerset, Taunton

T

he day finally arrived to see Sophie & Chip get married. I had been looking forward to capturing their wedding for quite some time and as my first wedding of 2018, I was eager to get back into wedding season.  I was really excited to be photographing what I ready knew would be a great day. Throughout 2016/2017 I had seen Sophie & Chip at numerous friends weddings that I had been photographing. It became a bit of a private joke that we kept bumping into each other. With Sophie’s warm and friendly personality and Chip’s fun-loving approach, I secretly hoped when their engagement was announced they would book me. And they did!

There relaxed approach, with the addition of the cutest little boy and Phil renowned moves on the dance floor made me really excited to capture their special day. They chose the beautiful Deer Park Countryhotel in Devon.  Set in 80 acres of glorious grounds, this beautiful boutique hotel has a pretty Italian garden and a quintessentially English Country House. It is the perfect example of the British countryside.
